New drills won’t fix old habits

A lot of golfers believe they just haven’t found the right drill yet.
More often, they’re changing drills too quickly.

I worked with someone this week who knew dozens of drills — but never stayed with one long enough to learn from it. Once we reused a single drill with better intention, progress showed up fast.

Here’s the shift I want you to make:

  • Stop collecting drills

  • Start repeating one drill with purpose

  • Let awareness build over time

Try this:
Use the same drill two practice sessions in a row, but change the target, distance, or constraint instead of the drill itself.

This is how we structure effective practice inside my Contact Drill Library. You can also reply and tell me how often you switch drills.

Play More Golf. But Better

In May, your name goe...
How improvement actually compounds

Nothing flashy — just consistent attention in the right place. Here’s the shift I want you to make: Stop chasing quick fixes Start committing to one pillar Let progress build week by week Try thi...
