Good swings still need good decisions

A lot of golfers focus only on making better swings.
But scoring also comes down to better decisions.

I’ve seen players hit the ball solid all day and still struggle because they were aiming at pins they had no business going after. Once we adjusted targets, scores dropped without changing the swing.

Here’s the shift I want you to make:

  • Stop aiming at the perfect shot

  • Start choosing targets that leave room for error

  • Let smart decisions lower your scores

Try this:
On your next round, aim every approach shot to the safest part of the green — even when you’re feeling good.

If course management is something you want to sharpen, this is a conversation I love to have inside the Fairway Finder Community. Or reply and tell me where you feel like you give shots away.

Why guessing doesn’t work When you guess what to practice, you usually: Avoid your real weaknesse...
